Still no word on when the props will arrive but we are going a little stir crazy.
We are walking as much as possible but still eating and drinking alot. Linda's favorite fudge is Vanilla Cranberry from Marshall's or really anywhere else. Linda says my B & F diet really isn't working either; that is Beer & Fudge. We did however go golfing yesterday at the Mackinaw Club. It was quite enjoyable. We were both a little rusty to start with but played better for the 2nd nine. It was quite a good course for having such a short season here with the tourists. It was a par 72, 6345 yards long with very narrow fairways and absolutely no chance to find your ball if you missed the fairway. I would say it is comparable to Kingsville or Outaouais in Ottawa. The ticket lady who works next door to where our boat is stored, lent us her car for the afternoon. Very nice of her. We are going to talk to her again on Wednesday.
Lots of action here in Mac City these past few days. On Friday and Saturday they had a corvette gathering here. There must have been 200 - 250 vettes here, some pretty spectacular. Then on Monday, bikers came in for the night as one of their stops on a road rally. They were expecting up to 30,000 people and their bikes but there were not near that many. There were quite a few of them though, bikes everywhere you turned or walked. We joined them for their pig roast and the live entertainment. 24 oz cans of beer were being sold for $3. You have got to love the price of booze here in the US.
Oh well, that is it for the past few days.

Linda wanted to make sure that there was no confusion about the photo. I told her that it was unnecessay to put in a disclaimer as everyone would immediately know that it was NOT Linda in the photo.
