Cuba Landing, TN

Well all good things come to an end. After another round of golf and another all-you-can-eat buffet we decided to continue south.... alone. Our friends on Headquarters rented a car and spent 4-5 days between Nashville and Memphis and had not yet returned after our week in Paris Landing. We hope to catch them further down the line somewhere.
Our next major "destination" was Grand Harbor Marina at the start of the Tom-Bigbee system. We decided to divide the trip into 3 equal days of travel which brought us to Cuba Landing Marina. ??? No one answered the phone, no one was at the fuel dock, office or restaurant. We decided to make ourselves at home. Once settled in, we did call an emergency number on the door only to find out that they are closed Monday and Tuesdays but no problem, we were told to enjoy ourselves and that they would see us in the morning. So we did.
After a very quiet night and a serene morning view off our back deck, we pushed off on our next leg.
