Linda and I have been trying to get to the museums or galleries early before the main rush of people and tour groups. We easily spend 3 or more hours in one attraction and then break for a nicer lunch. We have found some good spots in the Penn Quarter. Linda's favourite is 'Pho DC' a Vietnamese noodle place in Chinatown. It doesn't look like much from the street but it is nice inside and the food is superb. We have had a number of great meals at different places. In fact, we have been eating out a lot because Gangplank Marina does not allow BBQ'g in the marina. Well BBQ'g has been our bread and butter since forever so we are not really geared for cooking inside; thus all the eating out. We have started to more frequently bring in prepared food. The ribs from the BBQ pit in the adjacent park are excellent and we are still getting seafood from the Fish Market.

My new favourite painter is Rembrandt; he seems to bring his portraits to life. They look so real.
